a-connect had spent a lot of time and energy working to renew their value proposition and brand personality to better reflect their business and help them achieve ambitious goals for global growth. In order to realise their new brand positioning the marketing team reached out to Overthrow Digital to reinvigorate the branding and the digital side of the business, from a new website to content planning and ongoing digital marketing.
The key goal was to make those who interact with the brand understand the a-connect Effect; The unique offering that a-connect present by mixing the needs of astute business managers with highly intelligent business professionals.
We completely redesigned and brought up to date the a-connect logo and associated brand materials, from business cards to social media channel assets. The branding was supported by a detailed set of brand and communication guidelines for the internal team, ensuring a consistent brand experience for all those who come in contact with a-connect.
To support the brand launch Overthrow also created a short corporate film, from planning of the concept and writing the script to recording the voice over artist and mastering the final film. The video communicated the new ethos for the company in a motivational, aspirational way utilising a medley of stylish stock footage, combined with key messaging and an engaging soundtrack - the sole purpose of the video was to imbue those who viewed it with a sense of what the new a-connect vision is and how this will be carried forward.
A key part of the project was the redesign of the a-connect website. This not only tells the story and underlines a-connect’s new position as a thoughtful, imaginative and enterprising human resource company. It also acts as a hub of information for industry users looking to find articles, resources and knowledge relevant to their sectors, and ties in with the ongoing content marketing, social media and SEO activities that Overthrow Digital planned for a-connect. We worked with the a-connect team to identify their target audiences, focus the key messaging and created a framework for their internal team to plan and create the right mix of content for the marketing campaign.
a-connect’s new launch has been a great success, with fantastic support and renewed interest from its global network of Independent Professionals and clients. The website has increased engagement with the brand online, demonstrated by the new increase in web traffic, online enquiries and social media following.
