New West End Company, in partnership with TFL, has transformed an under-utilised side street off Oxford Street into a global first for London – the world’s first ‘Smart Street’.
Bird Street now provides a public oasis space for shoppers and workers to relax, dwell and enjoy innovative technology, fashion, and sustainability.
As a response to this, the New West End Company appointed Overthrow Digital to develop a cutting-edge online hub that integrates seamlessly with the Oxford Street website. The website needed to be a fully responsive, up-to-date website using the latest in front end development best practices, to allow for constant scalability.
Overthrow Digital will design and build a responsive web page suited to all device types. The final website will be flexible, scalable and easy to manage through its Content Management System (CMS). Overthrow will carry out front end design to stylishly represent Bird Street’s image and the website will be fully integrated with analytics tools and plugins. The website will also be fluently integrated with social media.
