It's Our World - Website and Digital Campaign
itisourworld.org

Brief
Business in the Community, Healthy Planet & The Big Draw recently approached us with one of our most exciting challenges to date. The digital campaign It’s Our World needed digital experts to drive it’s non-profit campaign, promoting it’s collaborative aims of hosting the largest collection of children’s artwork.
Solution
We worked closely with the client to create an eye catching website, encouraging it’s target audience to support the initiative and submit images of their local landscape and environment.
Once the platform was built, our team designed a multi channel campaign to reach parents, teachers and local children clubs and organisations leaders across the United Kingdom. This included a range of promotional campaigns published across social media networks, the development of rich and engaging content - from classroom templates and inspiring artist profiles to video content designed to inform, entertain and inspire the audience.
In order to focus our efforts, we decided to build up towards a nation wide one day event, where the aim was to get multiple activations across the country with small groups of young artists creating images of their local surroundings. The day was led by our flagship event at Waterloo station in London, where we took over the UK’s largest digital billboard to run an interactive art class with kids from the local schools. The event was attended by multiple press organisations and received national and local press coverage.
Result
It’s Our World has gathered momentous support from key figures such as Stephen Fry, Col Chris Hadfield, and overwhelming support from Westminster. The launch has provided a great boost in participation, and a real boost to the online gallery. The result was an artistic snapshot of the UK by a generation of children that is now stored for eternity in the national archives. The campaign also raised membership enquiries and increased fundraising for the charity The Big Draw.
